Oct. 1995: Winner- Engineering Excellence Award in the “Innovation” Category. Awarded by the Sydney Division of the Institution of Engineers, Australia to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation for the D-RADIO Project. John Lee was the Project Manager of the D-RADIO Project.
April 1996: Winner- National Engineering Excellence Award. Awarded by the Institution of Engineers, Australia to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation for the D-RADIO Project. John Lee was the Project Manager of the D-RADIO Project. The D-RADIO Project was one of seven winners in the National awards, and was the only Electronics/Communications/Information Technology project to be so awarded for the 95/96 two-year period.
Oct. 1997: Winner- Australian Design Award by Standards Australia. Awarded by Standards Australia to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation for the Virtual Console (a subsystem of the D-RADIO Project). John Lee was the Project Manager of the D-RADIO Project which developed the Virtual Console in the 1994-1996 period.

Corporation for the Virtual Console of the D-RADIO system, for its contribution to technology history. John Lee was the Project Manager of the D-RADIO Project which developed the Virtual Console in the 1994-1996 period.

Pty Ltd, was awarded the Winner in the annual Victorian Design Awards hosted by the Design Institute of Australia. (John Lee was the Project Manager for the TSK Project).
